Signed to Universal Music Label "AfterCluv Dance Lab" these Mexican Djs and producers joined their talent in the beginnings of 2012. Influenced by deep house, tech house and classic house music the duo has crated a new electronic music sound that makes everybody move their feet.

They’ve performed at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra (Brazil/Perú/Bolivia) EDC (Las Vegas/Mexico), ADE (Amsterdam), Beyond Wonderland (San Francisco/Mexico), The Social Festival (Colombia), The Day After (Panama), Wish Outdoor (Monterrey), Corona Sunsets (Tulum/Progreso/Vallarta), Festival Vaiven, etc... And they are constantly making appearances in clubs all over Latin America, United States, Europe and all the way to Japan, such as Ushuaia (Ibiza), Output (NYC), XXX Shibuya (Tokyo), Looloo (Mexico), Baum (Bogotá), Egg (London), Marquee (Las Vegas), FAC (La Havana, Cuba), Goya (Madrid), Bardot (Miami), and many many more...

They have remixed Madonna, Gorgon City, Duke Dumont, 30 Seconds to Mars, Sofi Tukker, Years & Years, Tokimonsta, etc... And their original productions have gathered more than 13 million Spotify plays and they continue growing exponentially.

Where are you from? Mexico City

When did you start making music? We had our fists approach music since we were very young, JP used to write lyrics and melodies since he was like 10 and Jorge played the drums also from a young age.  We started the Tom & Collins protect 7 years ago and were only djing back then but we were studying production on the side until we felt comfortable enough to start putting out our own music.

How do you describe your music? We make fun, fresh and tasteful house music.

Favorite moment from your career?

So many come to our mind thankfully, but I guess the newer step is the most exciting so we would have to say coming back to Tomorrowland and Ushuaia Ibiza this summer is what we're most excited about now.

Who is your biggest musical inspiration?

We grew up inspired by different worlds, Jorge has more of a rock and hip-hop background and Juan Pablo likes electronic music since he was young as well as pop music. But nowadays we’re inspired by some contemporary artists who we believe have an original recognizable sound like Disclosure, Gorgon City, Flume, Eric Prydz.

What is your producing software? Ableton Live

What other things do you do besides making music?

We have very little time now to do something else but we both enjoy spending time with friends and family. Also Jorge is really into watching and playing sports and JP enjoys visiting art/design museums.

What is your favorite track of all time? JP: Very tough question... Jorge: impossible to answer.

What is your best-producing tip?

Don’t judge the sounds, some can feel too used or from a different genre or sound trashy but if used in the right way they can make your production sound fresh. And also most of the time, simple is better, give each sound its space, we tend to “overproduce” the track to make it stand out, but sometimes you need to strip the song down to see its beauty.

Why did you start making music?

To feel connected to people, on the dance floor while we play or if they’re listening in the car while driving. We got addicted to connecting with people and emotions, it makes us feel alive.

What are your upcoming gigs? We have a Europe tour coming up we’re playing around Spain, including as I said before Ushuaia Ibiza, then we go to Tomorrowland and after that, we have some dates in Italy. Then back to our beloved Mexico.

What are your goals for the future? Making better music every time and hopefully give people joy through it.

What advice can you give for the young music producers/DJs:

There’s so much competition that the only way to stand out is being truly yourselves, not only on your music but in your whole identity, the way you dress, your attitude, your vibe, be authentic and also be súper professional.

Please write a message to your fans: We are so thankful, so so thankful to you guys, the only reason why we keep making music and why we feel motivated while making it is because of your support and encouragement.
