On the inspiration behind her new song, Sinéad shares, "When the world got turned upside down and we went into lockdown, life as we knew it changed catastrophically. Though there are good sides to this, ie: the slower pace, appreciating the simple things, and being able to relax, the chilling question that weighs on my heart is 'am I gonna die alone?' That worrying emotion is what brought about 'Quarantine Queen'. Though a sad thought, there is hope in the song from a wider standpoint - what can we as a nation learn from this time in terms of how we are living. I hope that we will change for the better, that's really what I was getting at."

London native Sinéad Harnett grew up with her mother and sister in a small house in North London. At an early age they were gifted a piano by a family friend and that was where Sinéad'slove of music began. Being of half Thai and half Irish descent, she began to teach herself and write songs on the keys, which would later develop into her painfully honest and heartfelt songwriting of today.

In 2016, she saw her career defining moment when releasing her single, "If You Let Me." With over 60 million streams, and counting, it has become a pool of discovery for new fans. 2019 saw the release of her debut album, Lessons in Love which explores the layered complexities within love, and all that she's learned from it. The rest of the album not only focuses on romantic love, but also love and challenges within her family, life, and in the difficult journey of loving herself. When speaking of the meaning of the album, Sinéad said, "Once it was finished, I stepped back and recognized all the healing I had been doing through letting the pain go away with the songs. I want to invite my fans to embark on that same journey to loving themselves too." Now with the debut under her belt, a more assured Sinéad looks forward to more releases ahead claiming she is "R&B 'til I die!"
